1. Cancelling an order
- Before dispatch — cancel free of charge by email or WhatsApp. If you have already paid, we refund in full.
- After dispatch, before delivery — you may refuse the shipment at the door. For prepaid orders we refund the invoice value less actual return freight.
- Made-to-order and custom builds — bundles configured to your specification, custom payload integrations and imported-to-order items cannot be cancelled once we have placed the supplier order. We will tell you clearly, in writing, at the point that becomes true.
2. Seven-day dead-on-arrival guarantee
If your drone does not power up, has a manufacturing defect, or arrived damaged in transit, tell us within 7 days of delivery. Email support@dronecentral.in with your order number, a description and photographs or a short video of the fault and the packaging.
- We arrange collection at our cost.
- We inspect on receipt, normally within 3 business days.
- If confirmed, you choose a free replacement or a full refund.
3. What cannot be returned
Because of safety, hygiene and regulatory rules, the following are non-returnable unless faulty:
- Batteries that have been charged or used
- Opened spare parts, propellers and consumables
- Spray chemicals and agricultural consumables
- Software licences and licence keys once issued or activated
- Training seats after the course has begun (see clause 6)
- Custom bundles and configured enterprise systems, unless defective
- Counter-UAS equipment supplied against an End-User Certificate
Change-of-mind returns on undamaged, unopened, unregistered stock items may be accepted at our discretion within 7 days, subject to a restocking deduction of up to 10% and return freight at your cost. Aircraft that have been activated with the manufacturer or registered on Digital Sky cannot be returned as new.
4. Refund method and timelines
| You paid by | Refund goes to | Timeline once approved |
|---|---|---|
| UPI, card or net banking | The original payment method | 5–7 business days, plus your bank's own settlement time |
| Bank transfer | The originating bank account | 5–7 business days |
| Cash on delivery | A bank account in the name of the person who placed the order — we will ask for account details and a cancelled cheque or passbook image | 7–10 business days |
Refunds are made to the original payer only. We do not refund to a third-party account. Where GST has been invoiced, the refund includes the GST charged and a credit note is issued.
5. Repairs and services
Drone ER diagnostic fees are payable in advance and are non-refundable once the diagnostic has been performed, since the work has been carried out. If you decline the repair quotation after diagnosis, we return the unit to you; return freight is payable by you. Parts already fitted at your written approval are not refundable.
6. Training and courses
- Cancel more than 7 days before the batch start date — full refund, less any exam or certification fee already paid to a third party on your behalf.
- Cancel 3–7 days before — 50% refund, or a free transfer to a later batch.
- Cancel less than 3 days before, or fail to attend — no refund; one transfer may be offered at our discretion.
- If DroneCentral cancels or reschedules a batch, you may take the new date or a full refund.
7. Rental
Rental cancellations more than 72 hours before the deployment date are refunded in full. Inside 72 hours, the first day's rate is retained to cover reserved fleet and pilot time. Security deposits are returned within 7 business days of the equipment being received back and inspected, less any deduction for damage or loss, which we itemise in writing.
8. How to raise a request
